What's scientific about driver recruitment?

Specialist Supply Chain recruiter The Logistics Network have completed an initial trial using a web based Behavioural Analysis tool to try to identify the ideal behavioural attributes of Home Deliver Drivers. Following an initial sample of 100 people that they placed into retail and logistics companies, they found some interesting results.

“We have been striving to introduce more objective scientific analysis into our recruitment process” said Director Andy Howard. “The fact that our tool is web based means that it can be deployed during an interview, at the candidate’s home, or in an Assessment Centre to present a full picture of the candidate along side our standard interview and occupational testing process. Our placement rates have increased and clients love our complete approach”.

Using 32 questions to identify which traits are most apparent in their working personality, The Logistics Network have found a statistical correlation of successful candidates and quantified their strengths in the areas of Support, Drive, Administration and Promotion. “We will continue to refine our findings and further integrate this into our recruitment processes to deliver tangible benefits to our clients” concluded Andy.
